It is 9' at the ridgeline and 9' feet across at widest points, this enables a larger tarp while not dragging on the floor. You fold the tarp in two and zip up to the chin to make it into a double layer poncho, the top layer can be pulled over the head as a hood though realistically you'll be better with a hat \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe intention with this is to have a usable and comfortable tarp above what you would usually get from a poncho tarp. The poncho is large and comes without a hood.
