Dark brown stripe Smock in worsted wool

Worsted wool over smock with riveted leather detailing 

This one's made in heavyweight worsted super 80s all wool made in Huddersfield, dark brown with tan and blue pinstriping 

Roo pocket, hood, riveted leather tag, wool cord at neck, 52"  chest, 26sleeve (straight at the end as intended to the rolled up for most uses) and 36" from shoulder to bottom (worn quite long) 

Made on a one off basis as enjoy crafting them this way: I take my time, get the colours right and hopefully that makes a desirable piece that is both technically proficient, natural and a statement piece that looks good in town or the woods.

Worsted wool is a woven cloth made from long stable wool fibre woven tightly to create a superior woollen that is mostly used in making high end tailored suits. I found that if it is sewn in to a loose fitting over smock its natural abilities really shine in that the 'stuff' is both wind and somewhat water resistant while being supremely comfortable and quiet
