Dry wax Standard HEX shape tarp, waxed canvas & leather tie outs

Six sided hex shape tarp, ideal for hammock cover and awkward/wonky pitches. Built using catenary cut edges means you will always get a taut pitch super easily for an aesthetic camp out.

The dry wax Hex shape tarp is 12 " x 9' (~3.5m x 2.75m)  with the sides being 205cm/6'9 and comes with 12 riveted leather tie outs. Constructed with 8oz dry wax wax cotton. Corner tie outs are 3mm leather, ridgeline tie outs are 4mm leather means they're easy to find and give a stronger pitch. All leather used is genuine vegetable tan and will patina / scratch up with age.

The ridgeline is a flat felled with three leather rivetted tie outs on each side allowing easy hanging of bug nets, lanterns etc 

Please note the dry wax isn't fully waterproof like a traditional oily wax but this is intentional as (especially of winter) condensation tends to accumulate on the underside anyway so a tight steep pitch is necessary to ensure a dry sleep. The dry wax it better as it's a little more quiet, looks more stealthy for wild camps, shields from moonlight more consistently and isn't as risky if you have a fire underneath (be very careful if doing this, and only ever in consistent rain).
