Sleeping mat/pad cover, waxed-canvas-backed checked wool with leather tie-outs

A delicious upgrade to an otherwise arguably miserable and often slippery camping mat or air mattress.

Simple but elegant pouch design allows you to use on its own or slip in various sized sleeping padded, shown here with a Thermarest RidgeRest for reference. Additional section to stuff with a hoodie etc to use as a pillow or leave empty if you want. 

TO USE: simply slide in you camping mat through the split under the pillow, stuff the pillow with a jumper or similar, peg out if necessary (usually if it's sloping a bit) and get some kip 🙂

The top side is 275 gsm very sof pure British wool woven fabric. The bottom is waterproofed using 8oz P200 Halley Stevensons 'black' waxed cotton canvas, so you stay warm and dry. No wadding on this one, so it still folds up nice and small for your pack. Signature leather tie-outs in each corner and the long sides means you can peg it to the ground, or hang near a fire to dry out - could even use as a tarp in dire circumstances. Hand-stamped leather Thornhill UltraHeavy logo patch, because it's pretty.
