Canvas bedroll

Super old school heavy duty cowboy style canvas bedroll in 18oz loomstate bull cotton canvas.

I made my own version of this a couple of year ago and it turned into one of my most used items. I leave the foam and blankets in it rolled up and when I fancy going somewhere I can just throw it all in the car and go. I can arrive late chuck it down and sleep and save on the Airbnb, super simple so it's always ready.

Quite a simple design but very effective and fun to use. It's pretty much a big long strip of canvas with two fold over flaps that go over the body to provide protection.. there's extra  fabric at the bottom to secure you inside and prevent you and the blankets/sleeping bag from escaping. There's an upper curved section to roll up into, use it to keep your pillow in place or if the weather is poor, edge down inside the bedroll and pull it over the head (the curve help keep it from flattening over your face)

Though the fabric is very water-resistant I would use a tarp in heavy or consistent rain and it gets miserable having to listen to the sound of the raindrops for too long.

The fabric and leather get marked really quickly but once it gets a bit more consistently dirty its a real showstopper and I get lots of compliments on it. 

Made from British made 18oz loomstate cotton bull canvas with leather detailing and  25mm polypropylene straps. 

I can change straps to leather with brass or nickel buckle for £80 and I can supply a foam pad with cotton cover for about £70 (depending on the foam used)
